Apply Now for a Commercialization Grant
The STRCIC only accepts applications for Commercialization Awards including Life Science Applications. Applications for Research Grant Matching and Research Superiority grants are submitted directly to the state ETF office (Click here). Applications are reviewed and submitted to the State TETF on a quarterly basis.
Obtaining Assistance with your Application
The STRCIC staff schedules pre-proposal sessions with individual potential applicants on a regular basis before application deadlines. Included in these sessions is information on the ETF, STRCIC and how to apply for a Commercialization Award through the STRCIC. Submit the application
Applications for the current period must be received by the application deadline.
Electronically submit your Proposal to STRCIC as email attachment(s). If not in Microsoft Word format, scan all documents into “pdf” form, since non-electronic submittals will not be accepted. Each document and filename must contain the proposing company name. Clearly indicate on the first page of each document if it contains your Confidential or Proprietary information, and clearly mark the specific information that is Confidential or Proprietary within the document. Remember the STRCIC is publicly funded and your
submission may be subject to Freedom of Information Legislation.
To be accepted for evaluation the Application Materials must include all of the following:
- Fully completed ETF Commercial Application form with signature on page 4
- Fully completed Two page summary form
- Required “attached business plan”
- Documented collaboration with a Texas Institution of Higher Education
- Additional attachments as you see fit (e.g. Technical Summary, PPT, CV's, etc.)
- A $250 application fee
